Definition of Conjunctions
A conjunction is a linking word such as and, or, but. Conjuctions are used to connect words, phrases, clauses or sentences.
Conjuctions of Time:
Before, after, as, when, while, until, since are also conjuctions of time because they tell when something has happen.
Remember the acronym FANBOYS: For-And-Nor-But-Or-Yet-So.

a) Co-ordinative
b) Subordinative
c) Corelative Conjunctions
a) Co- ordinative Conjunctions : join sentences of equal rank.
