Definition of Conjunctions
A conjunction is a linking word such as and, or, but. Conjuctions are used to connect words, phrases, clauses or sentences.
Conjuctions of Time:
Before, after, as, when, while, until, since are also conjuctions of time because they tell when something has happen.
Remember the acronym FANBOYSFor-And-Nor-But-Or-Yet-So. 
Types of Conjunctions
a) Co-ordinative
b) Subordinative
c) Corelative Conjunctions
a) Co- ordinative Conjunctions : join sentences of equal rank.
Co-ordinative Conjunctions
AndSprouts and juice is healthy breakfast.
ButHe is good person but he is short tempered.
ElseTake precautions else you will fell ill.
OrWould you like to have coffee or tea?
b) Sub- ordinative Conjuctions : join sentences of unequal parts.
